Live it, breathe it, be it.
My journey began at Ryerson Polytechnic University, where I earned my BFA in Media Arts, with a major in film. This diverse background and personal aesthetic in film & media studies have given me the tools to be versatile in my style and helped me develop a keen eye for colour, tone, and composition.
My strength lies in my ability to connect with my subjects and capture their true essence. Whether it's through portraiture, documentary work, or commercial photography, I strive to make my subjects feel comfortable and at ease in front of my lens. I believe that the closer you get to people, the more they open up and reveal their true emotions. As a photographer, I am always seeking honesty and authenticity in my images, striving to capture the essence of my subjects rather than just their likeness.
My career began with a photo documentary of Toronto's underground hip-hop music scene, where I met many talented artists and musicians. This experience deepened my respect and admiration for their hard work, dedication, and perseverance in their craft. Since then, I have had the privilege of working with Grammy-award winning and nominated musicians, internationally celebrated artists, athletes, and celebrities, including Jully Black, Steve Nash, Ric Flair, Stuart Matthewman, Osunlade, Pharrell Williams, Sean Paul, Jill Scott, Faith Evans, Eric Roberson, Roots Manuva, Dwele, Maestro Fresh Wes, Saukrates, Kardinal Offishall, Aloe Blacc, Dan Hill, and John Legend.
My hope is that my images inspire others to explore the world around them and find their own unique perspective. Through my photography, I strive to capture the essence of people and the beauty of the world we live in.
